This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Accountable for effectively conveying and promoting the advantages of Invitae (Labcorp Genetics) commercial products to Hospitals, Oncologists, Surgeons, Genetic Counselors, and regional reference laboratories.

• Successfully develop and implement an annual business strategy with quarterly revisions.

• Conduct cold calls and establish a sales pipeline that ensures continuous revenue target attainment.

• Precisely forecast and maintain a sales funnel of new prospects aligned with a 90-day quota.

• Efficiently manage travel arrangements to enhance sales productivity.

• Participate in local and national professional trade shows and events as needed.

• Acquire knowledge and promote Integrated Oncology-focused products and services.

• Clearly articulate value propositions to all targeted clients and prospects.

• Conduct in-services, training, and implementation with relevant personnel and physician staff.

• Collaborate and actively engage in new business opportunities with LCA counterparts.

• Keep all pertinent customer account information updated in CRM Data Management Systems.

• Provide continuous customer support, education on key products, and market updates for the existing customer base.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in outside medical sales.

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

• Experience in diagnostics sales is preferred.

• Oncology and/or rare disease sales experience is preferred.

• Established relationships in one or more areas: Hospitals, Oncology Clinics, Surgeons, Genetic Counselors.

• Demonstrated success in managing a book of business.

• Strong skills in persuasion, influencing, and closing sales.

• Ability to comprehend complex scientific literature and utilize clinical data as a selling point.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Outstanding time management and organizational abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
