This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
• Develop and implement pipeline strategies, achieve targets, and foster growth through a blend of Strategic, Tactical, and Transformative Opportunities.
• Comprehend transformation initiatives within banks and financial services organizations and align solutions to support those initiatives.
• Market comprehensive portfolio solutions – Rapidminer and Mendix – to line of business and Technology divisions in the BFSI sector, including Tier 1 banks and major insurers.
• Oversee the entire sales process, providing transparency regarding the pipeline; balance quick wins with longer, complex deals.
• Identify and cultivate new accounts – devise and implement major account development plans that ensure steady revenue growth each quarter.
• Collaborate strategically with pre-sales teams to identify, create solutions, and present to various personas involved in sales opportunities.
• Establish yourself as a trusted advisor by understanding customers' current and future IT roadmaps; facilitate vision expansion and accelerate decision-making processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including sales engineering, professional services, marketing, legal, and finance, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Create and deliver engaging sales presentations (both online and onsite) that align company solutions with identified customer needs.
• Negotiate and close deals by balancing the objectives of both the company and the customer to foster "win-win" business relationships; successfully close new accounts and expand existing ones.
• Foster strong internal and external (customer and partner) relationships that enhance sales collaboration, productivity, and revenue generation.
• Utilize the company's chosen CRM/Sales Tools to accurately track sales records, activities, and forecasts; complete forms, tasks, and sales reports as required by management.
• Maintain consistent and effective communication both internally and externally; provide open, honest, and respectful feedback.
• A Bachelor's degree or higher is required.
• 10+ years of Enterprise Sales experience with a proven track record of selling complex Business Process Management, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Business Analytics, or Data Science software solutions.
• A solid understanding of industry trends and relevant business drivers.
• Candidates should show a history of consistently achieving sales quotas and meeting multi-million dollar annual revenue targets.
• Excellent understanding of the company's products/services and pricing strategies.
• Proven sales skills, initiative, and the ability to operate independently.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Awareness of commercial and market dynamics.
• Experience in both Direct and Channel Sales is preferred.
• Proficient business communication skills in English.
• Background in working with or navigating within Financial Services, FinTech, or related sales fields, particularly involving Data, Cloud & Analytics solutions.
• Demonstrated success in client management and substantial sales experience with a record of overachievement in selling complex solutions in competitive environments at the executive level.
• Understanding of how the financial services sector functions regarding credit risk, fraud, payments/collections, and marketing.
• Experience selling Data & Analytics solutions to large global banks as well as regional banks.
• Familiarity with core banking platforms, Cloud Data Strategy, ETL Tools, and Analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of Apache Spark, data lakehouse concepts, knowledge graphs, or big data ecosystems is preferred.
• Proven capability to execute complex enterprise sales strategies and manage intricate, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
• Reputation for fostering collaborative relationships and promoting an inclusive work environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% to customer sites for strategic engagement and deal closure.
