This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Execute thorough dyslexia evaluations in alignment with SASC and JCQ standards.
• Complete Form 8 assessments to facilitate access arrangements.
• Generate high-quality, clear, and actionable diagnostic reports to enhance student learning, intervention planning, and exam access recommendations.
• Uphold stringent assessment standards, ensuring ethical and evidence-based practices.
• Provide specialized instruction for students with dyslexia and associated specific learning difficulties (SpLDs) as needed.
• Design and implement structured, personalized intervention programs.
• Track student progress and offer feedback to parents, staff, and the SEN team.
• Collaborate closely with the SEN department, educators, and pastoral staff to ensure a unified strategy for supporting learners.
• Offer guidance, training, and best-practice recommendations to staff on recognizing and assisting students with dyslexia.
• Promote whole-school strategies for inclusive education and increase awareness of SpLD needs throughout the institution.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Level 7 qualification in SpLD (e.g., Postgraduate Diploma in Dyslexia or equivalent)
• Current APC registration (or AMBDA with a valid APC)
• Proven experience in conducting dyslexia assessments and composing comprehensive diagnostic reports
• Familiarity with JCQ-compliant assessments for access arrangements
• Understanding of current laws and guidelines regarding SpLD assessment and provision
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment
