This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• As a Sales Specialist for NG Identity Security, you will serve as the primary point of contact for potential customers.
• Collaborating with our sales team, you will take responsibility for the technical relationship throughout the sales process.
• You will also nurture that relationship as customers explore the capabilities of NG Identity Security, broaden their usage, and offer feedback to our Product Management team.
• By delivering technical value in your engagements with prospective clients, you will establish yourself as a trusted advisor, addressing technical inquiries, showcasing functionalities, and outlining a technical vision for SSPM.
• You will collaborate closely with teams across sales, leadership, marketing, support, customer success, and engineering.
• Your role will involve providing insights on deal progress, identifying the needs and desires of prospects, and translating these into tangible benefits derived from the Adaptive Shield platform.
• Your success in this position will play a crucial role in the global growth of NG Identity Security as part of our specialist team.
• Strong technical expertise in SaaS/Cloud platforms (such as Salesforce, 365, etc.) and security concepts (including network security, endpoint security, and threat detection).
• Ideally, you have experience with common sales methodologies like MEDDPICC, Challenger Selling, or Value Selling in a pre-sales or architectural capacity.
• Capability to adapt, excel, and thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• A consultative sales approach, demonstrating the ability to encourage companies to think differently.
• Proficient in advocating for technology and acquiring new accounts (hunting).
• Highly driven and professional, possessing excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• A self-starter who can work independently while also being team-oriented, fostering a collaborative work culture.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities – resourceful and constructive in approach.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering position within the cybersecurity or cloud security sectors.
