This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Collaborate closely with partner account managers and engineers to enhance technical awareness, promote the Shure brand, and act as an on-site Shure resource.
• May integrate with local partner teams to become a part of their overall culture.
• Concentrating on the dealer channel, implement strategic plans to identify, research, evaluate, and prioritize market leads and opportunities to engage potential customers beyond the current Company revenue stream.
• Execute sales enablement training programs and product launch presentations to boost awareness and comprehension of the advantages of Company product categories.
• Provide support to the partner sales team as an extended technical consultant for customer projects.
• Collaborate with business leaders to convey growth opportunities.
• Responsible for lead qualification.
• Identify “sales-ready” prospects and manage cross-selling and up-selling during the tele-qualification process.
• Anticipate customer needs and address competitive sales objections while positioning products against competitors.
• Deliver structured sales messaging for Shure products/solutions to guide potential customers through the buying process, ultimately leading to purchase.
• Partner with the supported sales team to schedule calls with prospective customers and ensure timely and effective transitions.
• Familiar with the Marketing Plan between Shure and dealer partner/channel, working with the Shure Business Leader and Channel Marketing team on execution as directed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a relevant professional field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a sales account professional beyond entry-level, possessing comprehensive technical knowledge of audio principles and products.
• Market experience in the Music Industry, retail, broadcast, integration, and/or production is a plus.
• Demonstrates sound judgment.
• Ability to cultivate productive internal and external working relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Capable of managing multiple assignments concurrently.
• Detail-oriented, professional, ambitious, well-organized, with strong time management skills.
• Positive attitude, team-oriented, self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively to achieve objectives.
• Familiarity with CRM-related applications and marketing automation tools.
• Must reside in the region.
• Expect to average 50% travel.
• Ability to stay updated on Shure products, technology, marketplace, and their practical applications, as well as competitive products.
