Specialist II, Financial Clearance, Patient Access

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Utilizes specialized expertise to assist in critical areas pertinent to the role

• Conducts research, gathers, and analyzes data to formulate effective solutions

• Engages in collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing performance

• Oversees the distribution of analytical reports

• Keeps abreast of relevant laws and policies

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent qualification

• A minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience in scheduling, financial clearance, or patient access

• National certification in HFMA CRCR or NAHAM CHAA is required within one (1) year of employment

• Proficiency in Patient Registration and Patient Accounting systems, as well as related software

• Extensive understanding of scheduling and insurance verification processes

• Strong knowledge of billing and reimbursement guidelines for third-party and government payers
