This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Manage accounting operations and address accounting challenges for designated registered interval and tender offer funds, along with other pooled vehicles.
• Act as the primary client liaison for both domestic and international fund accounting operations and administration.
• Assist in daily accounting functions for assigned funds.
• Aid in the annual audit process.
• Coordinate and onboard new funds and clients effectively.
• Serve as a link between clients, external service providers, and internal teams.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and controls, delivering precise Net Asset Values (NAVs).
• Supply information to the Financial Reporting team for annual and semi-annual financial statements.
• Prepare and examine SEC filings, including N-PORT and N-CEN.
• Support the Tax team with distribution calculations and tax reporting tasks.
• Assist Treasury Services with the preparation of annual fund expense budgets and quarterly updates, including the review of expense payments.
• Compile and assess materials related to the Board.
• Review operational work and authorize NAVs, reconciliations, revenue packages, dividend distributions, and other fund administration tasks.
• Interact with external investment managers concerning daily fund inquiries and resolve issues affecting funds.
• Conduct performance evaluations and monthly one-on-ones with team analysts and supervisors.
• Provide guidance on career paths and training opportunities.
• Take part in interviews and hiring processes to fulfill staffing needs.
• Promote a team-oriented environment that encourages development, promotions, and necessary disciplinary actions.
• Assist new business development and relationship teams through prospect calls, client visits, and presentations.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new and transitioned clients by collecting requirements, submitting custom requests, and communicating deliverables.
• Engage in IMS and corporate professional development sessions.
• Identify processes and potential future solutions within the division and organization.
• BA/BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in the fund services sector.
• Experience with alternatives is preferred.
• Proficiency with fund accounting software is essential.
• Experience with Investran and/or Geneva is strongly preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Exceptional leadership, planning, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
