Specialist Charge-Cardiology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Accountable for capturing, analyzing, and reporting data information.

• Conducts audits of departmental information, generating reports, and recommending process enhancements.

• Engages in collaborative activities aimed at performance improvement.

• Maintains documentation related to charge capture procedures.

• Oversees the charge reconciliation processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• A minimum of three (3) years of pertinent coding and charge control experience in a hospital and/or physician practice setting.

• Familiarity with revenue cycle, billing, coding, and/or patient financial services is essential.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology, data entry, and supply chain processes.

• Experience with Epic systems is preferred.

• Experience in cardiology revenue integrity is necessary.
