This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily management of the Panda Ambassador Program, which includes recruiting, vetting candidates, onboarding, and providing project guidance.

• Create and execute recruitment strategies aimed at attracting highly engaged candidates.

• Organize and produce resources (e.g., toolkits, project templates, educational materials) to assist Ambassadors in their projects and engagement efforts, utilizing tools such as Airtable and Canva.

• Facilitate monthly Panda Ambassador meetings, promoting community involvement through updates, recognition, and challenges.

• Actively enhance engagement within the Panda Ambassador online community platform.

• Ensure that Ambassador activities are in alignment with broader campaign narratives.

• Conduct research and recommend best practices along with emerging technologies, tools, and tactics.

• Aid in the planning and execution of significant Activism & Outreach events, such as WWF’s annual Lobby Day, expert panel discussions, and mobilizations.

• Oversee the annual Youth Conservation Leadership Award application and review process, as well as maintain engagement with awardees throughout the year.

• Coordinate and execute WWF's activism social media strategy by creating content, scheduling posts, and collaborating with other organizational channels on the @WWF_Act Instagram account.

• Monitor and report on key engagement metrics, delivering data-driven insights to enhance program effectiveness.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• At least 4 years of relevant experience.

• Proven experience in online advocacy or activism.

• Proficiency in Canva and Airtable.

• Experience in social media content creation (Instagram, X/Twitter).

• Competence in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).

• Ability to effectively simplify complex scientific concepts for general audiences.

• Strong proactive communication skills, timely responsiveness, and capacity to foster collaboration across departments.

• Capability to prioritize effectively and deliver high-quality work under time constraints, consistently meeting deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Commitment to fostering and enhancing a culture of inclusion both within and across teams.
