Special Education Teacher

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Establish strong daily connections that inspire students, ensuring they feel motivated, recognized, and capable, transforming potential drop-offs into significant breakthroughs through thoughtful, proactive outreach.

• Create, assess, and maintain IEPs that accurately capture each student's needs, progress, and objectives, guaranteeing that all documentation is thorough, compliant, and aligned with the services and instruction offered.

• Customize the educational journey for students by effectively utilizing the curriculum to help them meet the goals outlined in their IEPs.

• Keep a vigilant eye on engagement and progress; identify struggling or disengaged students early and initiate timely, tailored interventions and accommodations that reignite their momentum.

• Collaborate with teachers to execute necessary accommodations and provide prompt grading along with impactful, meaningful feedback that reinforces learning, celebrates progress, builds self-confidence, and empowers students to overcome challenges with assurance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (mandatory).

• Teacher certification and completion of an approved teacher preparation program (mandatory).

• Capability to obtain certifications in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and other states as assigned (mandatory).

• Over 3 years of experience in special education (preferred).

• More than 2 years of experience in online teaching (preferred).

• Proficient in using software for IEP documentation, such as e-IEP Pro, Enrich, or similar platforms (preferred).

• Must pass required background checks (mandatory).
