This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Provide tailored instruction to students with special needs.
• Oversee instructional programs for a caseload of students needing direct and/or indirect services.
• Deliver virtual teaching, instructional support, and general educational strategies.
• Create, write, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
• Track student progress, prepare report cards, and hold parent conferences.
• Maintain communication with IEP team members, parents/learning coaches, related service providers, and school personnel.
• Offer direct services through web-conferencing software as required.
• Schedule, plan, and facilitate IEP-related meetings online.
• Engage in the school's Student Support Team.
• Assist teachers and learning coaches in developing and executing program modifications and strategies.
• Support with IEP documentation, procedures, and coordination of related service providers.
• Keep accurate records in the Learning Management System and special education software.
• Aid with state testing and coordinate special adaptations required by IEPs.
• Travel as necessary for marketing, state testing, and other school events.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field in Education.
• Valid Oregon PK-12 Special Education certification.
• Successful completion of background checks or clearances, including the Child Abuse History Clearance.
• Experience with policy (IDEA) and/or administration in Special Education.
• Proficient in technology, particularly Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Highly organized and punctual.

• High level of flexibility and adaptability.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong track record as a team player.
• Willingness to travel for marketing, state testing, and other school activities, which may include occasional overnight travel.
• Capability to work effectively in a remote setting.
• Ability to utilize a personal electronic device and email for two-step authentication.
