Spanish Remote Simultaneous Interpretation, RSI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct interpretation sessions remotely while maintaining a professional demeanor in line with the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Be prepared to take notes during interpretation sessions.

• Acquaint yourself with industry-specific terminology, especially in the healthcare and medical sectors.

• Ensure precise and thorough interpretation without adding, omitting, or altering any information.

• Deliver outstanding customer service throughout interpretation sessions.

• Facilitate effective communication between individuals with Limited English Proficiency and clients.

• Engage in internal professional development training and pursue additional certifications.

• Maintain regular communication and report to your team leader.

• Comply with dress code expectations for remote interpretation sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in English and possess native-level fluency in Spanish.

• At least 1 year of remote interpretation experience with a reputable organization.

• Strong grasp of medical terminology; familiarity with legal terms is an advantage.

• International certifications in the healthcare field (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA) are beneficial.

• High school diploma in your native language.

• Demonstrate high emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.

• Exceptional communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.
