Spanish Quality Control Lead – Project Lyra

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee and mentor a team of around 10 Quality Control Reviewers, guaranteeing uniform quality standards for the Spanish (Spain) locale.

• Evaluate reviewer feedback, conduct quality audits, and ensure compliance with project guidelines.

• Serve as the main quality contact for the Spanish (Spain) locale, addressing quality-related inquiries and escalating complex issues when needed.

• Facilitate calibration sessions and deliver structured coaching to enhance reviewer performance.

• Track quality trends, recognize risks, and proactively tackle performance deficiencies.

• Assist in the onboarding and training of new Quality Control Reviewers.

• Work in conjunction with global Quality Teams to refine processes, documentation, and maintain quality consistency across AI training tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency (CEFR C2 or equivalent) in Spanish (Spain).

• Proficient in both written and spoken English.

• At least 2 years of experience in AI training, data annotation, linguistic quality, localization QA, or a similar quality assurance role.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in leading or supervising reviewers, annotators, or quality teams.

• Solid understanding of linguistic quality, covering grammar, fluency, tone, register, and cultural nuances.

• Proven experience in delivering structured, evidence-based feedback and coaching to enhance quality.

• Exceptional analytical skills, capable of assessing complex tasks that may not have a single correct solution.

• Strong organizational abilities and the capability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic remote setting.
