Spanish Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls in a professional manner, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Familiarize yourself with the specific vocabulary relevant to the industry in which you interpret, particularly in healthcare and medical contexts.

• Deliver all messages accurately and completely, without adding, omitting, or substituting content.

• Provide the highest level of customer service throughout the interpreting process.

• Facilitate communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and Clients by ensuring accurate and complete interpretation of messages.

• Implement standards of practice effectively.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report to your team leader consistently.

• Adhere to dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language ("Spanish").

• At least 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Knowledge of legal terminology is advantageous.

• Possession of international certifications in the healthcare industry is a plus (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and sensitivity to diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
