Spanish CART Captioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver real-time captioning services in both Spanish and English contexts utilizing approved real-time software.

• Provide immediate verbatim translations of spoken Spanish into text, allowing consumers to read the content on displayed devices as it is generated.

• Assist consumers in actively participating in the communication process by upholding high-quality standards for captioning services.

• Clearly and accurately convey the essence of the message.

• Collaborate with the SignGlasses team to address any technical difficulties and ensure access to materials for captioners and/or consumers.

• Supply consumers with a final, polished transcript.

• Keep up-to-date backups of real-time dictionaries and user profiles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in captioning within professional environments.

• Experience in team captioning.

• Extensive knowledge of both Spanish and English languages, including grammar, syntax, spelling, vocabulary, and punctuation.

• Experience and capability to use appropriate software for captioning public and/or live-streamed events with projected captions.

• Ability to write in real-time in a conflict-free manner, employing punctuation and maintaining accuracy in high-pressure situations.

• Typing speed of at least 120+ wpm with zero errors.

• Must possess one or more of the following certifications: RPR, RMR, RDR, CRR, CRC.
