Sourcing Pursuits Lead

📋 Description

• Act as the primary point of contact for sourcing within a designated industry division, acquiring a thorough understanding of specific sector needs, market conditions, and client expectations.

• Foster strong collaborative relationships with Sales teams and Sourcing Client Delivery leads to ensure alignment on sourcing strategies and business goals.

• Work alongside Sourcing Specialists to create comprehensive third-party solutions that tackle specific industry challenges and capitalize on opportunities.

• Oversee the sourcing aspect of pursuit activities, ensuring competitive positioning through innovative supplier relationships and pricing strategies customized for the industry division.

• Function as the Global Pursuit Lead on multi-regional client opportunities, orchestrating sourcing activities across various geographic markets.

• Keep track of industry trends, competitor actions, and supplier capabilities within your assigned sector.

• Offer insights and suggestions to improve JLL's market position and discover new sourcing opportunities that align with growth strategies of the industry division.

• Assist in client meetings and presentations by providing sourcing expertise and solution recommendations while developing targeted solutions to address their needs.

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with Pursuit Leads and sourcing teams throughout JLL's global network.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution and/or over 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing and/or sales solution development; an MBA is preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and strong analytical capabilities.

• Proficient in both oral and written communication, including public speaking.

• Creative and critical thinking skills to devise assumption-based solutions.

• Ability to acquire key market intelligence and insights relevant to the division to incorporate into sourcing solutions.

• Expertise in complex negotiation techniques.

• An innovative mindset to deliver best-in-class sourcing solutions to our clients.

• Demonstrated ability to achieve results in challenging environments.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High proficiency in organization and project management skills, including effective time management to juggle multiple deadlines.

• Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office applications.
