Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies that facilitate timely delivery, quality performance, and optimization of cost and risk.

• Oversee the identification, qualification, and commercial negotiations with suppliers.

• Offer supplier execution support to guarantee supplier preparedness and compliance with customer and regulatory standards.

• Cultivate robust working relationships and establish a regular operating rhythm with the existing supply base, customer representatives, and internal stakeholders (Engineering, Quality, Operations, Program Management, Global Supply Chain, Legal, Finance).

• Evaluate and establish a baseline for the current supplier landscape, assessing risks (single-source, allocation, obsolescence, geopolitical) and performance metrics (OTD, quality/DPPM, responsiveness, lead time).

• Implement priority sourcing project initiatives (identify/shortlist suppliers, initiate qualification plans, and synchronize supplier deliverables with immediate project milestones).

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in deploying supply chain processes and enhancements.

• Expertise in leading supplier contract negotiations.

• Strong understanding of data analysis, cost modeling, and supplier assessment tools.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and operational value streams.

• Exceptional project scheduling, prioritization, and organizational skills to manage tasks across various locations (suppliers, plants, and customer sites).

• Effective communication skills to provide clear guidance, accurate handoffs, and consistent standards to a diverse, multilingual audience with varying English proficiency.

• Experience in coaching and mentoring supply chain professionals to enhance organizational capability.

• Willingness to accommodate Thailand manufacturing facility hours and USA customer requirements; presence may be needed both remotely and on-site as necessary. Domestic and international travel may be required to collaborate with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing facilities.
