This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conduct research and source products to meet customer requirements.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of products, commodities, and the scope of contracts.
• Collaborate with departmental staff to identify and escalate potential sourcing challenges.
• Work alongside department personnel to address inquiries, concerns, and resolve issues.
• With support, negotiate and set pricing, terms, and conditions while fostering key supplier relationships.
• Analyze supplier scorecards to assess supplier performance before solicitation.
• Assist department staff in resolving post-order trouble tickets.
• Engage in ongoing departmental training to stay updated on process changes and new systems.
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Experience in procurement or supply chain is advantageous; formerly trained military personnel or those with relevant experience may substitute it for civilian experience.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to conduct business confidently, clearly, and professionally.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to review and comprehend various contracts and their specific requirements.
• Self-motivated and proactive, demonstrating strong accountability and initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to be agile and inventive, utilizing critical thinking to devise creative solutions for customer challenges.
• Strong team-building skills, including assisting team members and collaborating with internal departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
