This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Namibia.
• Manage sourcing projects of varying complexity from initiation to completion.
• Assess sourcing requests to ensure alignment with client guidelines and identify any data deficiencies.
• Engage with client requesters and provide updates on project status.
• Gather and analyze spend data while performing supply market assessments.
• Identify potential suppliers and design, publish, and oversee RFx events.
• Facilitate reverse auctions and negotiate deals related to software, SaaS, professional, and corporate services.
• Evaluate and interpret bid responses and proposals.
• Organize supplier evaluations, draw insights, prepare summaries, and present recommendations to clients.
• Conduct supplier onboarding and training, while tracking milestone activities.
• Create and tailor RFx, pricing, and proposal evaluation templates.
• Identify inefficiencies in processes and suggest enhancements to Denali procedures.
• Ensure thorough documentation of all project activities.
• Work alongside Client Category Managers and WNS Subject Matter Experts on sourcing strategies, approaches, and methodologies.
• Oversee 5 to 12 concurrent sourcing projects with minimal supervision or independently.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, operations, or supply chain.
• Proficient sourcing skills, encompassing sourcing methodologies, processes, eSourcing technology, and RFx development and management.
• Knowledge of best-practice sourcing strategies and techniques.
• Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in analyzing, organizing, and presenting data in Excel using pivot tables and other functions.
• Ability to synthesize data, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations based on client goals and requirements.
• Proficient in one or more eSourcing tools, such as Ariba, Procuri, Iasta, Zycus, or an ERP eSourcing module.
• CLAUDE proficiency is preferred.
• Basic to intermediate negotiation skills in software-environment and credit-based-system enterprise licensing.
• Understanding of retail-store-specific categories, pricing/cost structures, terminology, vendors, requirements, and sourcing levers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong project management skills, including planning, time management, multitasking, and critical path identification.
• Strong customer service orientation, with skills in issue resolution and relationship management.
• Ability to quickly learn and master client-specific processes, terminology, political dynamics, systems, and unique requirements.
