This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Review patient schedules and coordinate the purchase of pharmaceuticals for scheduled treatments.
• Verify vendor pricing, reconcile invoices, and address any purchasing discrepancies.
• Monitor medication inventory levels to ensure availability while reducing waste.
• Lead monthly inventory counts and investigate variances related to receiving, transfers, dispensing, and shipping.
• Oversee the utilization of the procurement system and identify areas for efficiency and accuracy improvements.
• Maintain documentation related to invoice discrepancies, medication waste, shipping issues, and inventory variances.
• Prepare reports on procurement and inventory.
• Monitor purchasing trends and evaluate rebate performance.
• Provide insights to aid in operational and financial decision-making.
• Collaborate with regional teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve procurement challenges.
• Support the opening of new clinics and ensure uninterrupted availability of medications.
• Suggest improvements to procurement workflows, inventory controls, and purchasing processes.
• Uphold productivity, responsiveness, and data security while working remotely.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to precision.
• Knowledge of best practices in purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
• Experience with purchasing or inventory management systems.
• Strong analytical skills, along with reporting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and effective time management.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication.
• Ability to cultivate collaborative relationships with vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Preferred knowledge of pharmaceutical products, terminology, and procurement processes.
• An Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience is required.
• A minimum of three years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, vendor management, customer service, or a related field.
• Preferred experience in supporting pharmaceutical procurement, healthcare supply chain operations, or inventory management.
