📋 Description

• Cultivate and sustain a high level of expertise in the Geotab ecosystem, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to empower both end-users and partners, thereby enhancing their comprehension of Geotab solutions.

• Collaborate and engage with strategic partners and key end-users to maximize their use of Geotab's technology, products, and solutions, customizing the approach to address their intricate and specific requirements.

• Work alongside Geotab's revenue-generating teams as a vital technical resource to identify and deliver efficient solutions for customer challenges, closely collaborating with them and their partners, contributing to sales growth, ecosystem expansion, and customer retention.

• Propel revenue growth by converting complex technical capabilities into clear business value for prospective clients. Conduct thorough discovery and requirements analysis to design and present compelling technical demonstrations and pilots that align directly with customer needs, facilitating faster deal closure.

• Ensure satisfaction among partners and end-users through timely and precise service, enhancing internal team support by sharing additional insights and expertise.

• Assist in upskilling Geotab’s partners, guiding them towards excellence in supporting customers across various unique channels, applying best practices, and utilizing a comprehensive understanding of industry verticals.

• Evaluate and analyze intricate business challenges faced by partners and end-users, determining Geotab’s applicability and proposing alternative strategies when necessary.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the company's services by providing feedback from partners and end-users, creating opportunities for collaboration with the Product team.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records of customer/partner interactions, complex solution designs, and deliverables by adhering to departmental processes and procedures.

• Oversee high-impact projects and strategic customers/partners, working closely with partners, third-party integrators, and customers to guarantee seamless implementation, deployment, and success.

• Develop and enhance processes and procedures, manage escalations, identify areas needing change, and drive those changes forward.

• Mentor and guide Solutions Engineers and other team members, sharing knowledge, expertise, and best practices to foster skill development and professional advancement.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in Solutions/Sales Engineering.

• Willingness to travel internationally up to 30% of the time.

• Proficiency in English and Italian.

• Experience in a relevant technical field, such as software engineering, data analysis, or systems integration, particularly in customer-facing roles.

• Advanced technical knowledge and understanding of telematics, IoT, APIs, and associated technologies.

• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, SQL, Java, or C#, along with extensive experience in API integrations.

• Capability to utilize Agile Work Management, Ticketing, and Customer Relationship Management tools such as JIRA and Salesforce.

• Familiarity with data analysis techniques and tools, as well as data visualization software like Superset or Power BI.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to evaluate customer challenges and suggest feasible solutions.

• Proficient in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and customer support.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• A customer-centric approach, committed to understanding intricate client needs and providing outstanding service.
