SOC Integration, Operationalization Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Implement and operationalize security solutions such as XDR, NDR, PAM, EDR, IDS/IPS, Messaging Security, Cyber Range, and FIM.

• Set up and optimize UEBA models, correlation rules, and detection mechanisms.

• Create and sustain SOC use cases, detection content, and monitoring dashboards.

• Conduct host and network forensic analysis to assist in incident investigations.

• Execute detection testing, validation, and acceptance testing to confirm monitoring efficiency.

• Develop and keep up-to-date technical documentation, procedures, and operational runbooks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Proficient experience in SOC engineering and the integration of security platforms.

• Practical knowledge of XDR, NDR, EDR, IDS/IPS, PAM, UEBA, and SIEM technologies.

• Experience with detection engineering, threat monitoring, and forensic analysis.

• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, incident response, and cybersecurity operations.

• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation abilities.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
