Solutions Engineer – Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Gabon.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the sales team to strategize, develop, and present demonstrations to both prospective and existing customers.

• Interact with potential clients to comprehend their needs and challenges, and craft suitable technical solutions.

• Recognize bundling opportunities throughout the sales process to enhance revenue.

• Cultivate customer relationships and develop business plans to uncover opportunities and boost product sales.

• Oversee and implement technical workshops and proofs of concept.

• Coordinate with sales and customer success teams to deliver technical support, guidance, and training.

• Gather customer feedback for product improvements.

• Suggest new product developments and enhancements based on market demands, customer insights, and competitive landscape.

• Assist customers with inquiries regarding product selection and capabilities.

• Keep abreast of Catalis technologies, features, and rival technologies.

• Identify product partnerships and integrations that enhance customer value.

• Provide training and mentorship to internal teams as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of experience in the payments sector/payments networks, which includes credit cards, debit cards, ACH, digital wallets, and other payment solutions/financial transactions.

• 3–5 years of experience in pre-sales, sales, business development, and/or customer value generation.

• Strong skills in automation and information technology.

• In-depth knowledge of software and SaaS.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and capacity to assess prospective customers’ needs and challenges.

• Proficient in working effectively within a dynamic team environment.

• Capable of managing multiple and competing priorities concurrently.

• Demonstrated customer-facing and presentation skills for intricate technical solutions.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to work autonomously or with development teams to create and demonstrate demo applications.
