Solutions Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Offer solution engineering assistance to all field personnel, including Account Executives, Strategic Account Managers, and Global Solutions Sales Executives.

• Accountable for lifecycle sustaining engineering support (discovery, solution development, and proposal crafting).

• Manage moves, adds, and changes (MACD).

• Provide sustaining engineering assistance for large, complex solutions.

• Support initiatives related to account development.

• Gather customer technical requirements and convert them into internal architecture formats.

• Collaborate with the product team on new product specifications, integrations, and defect resolution.

• Work alongside the product team and customers on load/stress and failover testing for high-availability implementations.

• Assist customers in addressing issues and resolving challenges both before and after production.

• Promote ongoing technical enhancement both internally and with clients.

• Foster and facilitate technical decisions with customers to design or enhance technical solutions.

• Supervise technical implementation for customer deployment initiatives.

• Participate jointly in client implementation planning and related tasks to ensure smooth integration or activation of Comcast Business Global services for both new and existing clients.

• Provide technical fulfillment and respond to inquiries regarding Comcast Business Global technical capabilities for RFI’s, RFQ’s, and RFP’s.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a network Solutions Engineer role or a related position.

• Strong comprehension of SDWAN and SASE design principles.

• Experience with VoIP and data networking protocols (SIP, RTP, HTTP/S, SNMP, BGP, OSPF, QoS).

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead projects effectively.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Reside on the East Coast of the US and be available for up to 25% travel annually.
