This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +2 more states.
• Take ownership of the senior technical relationship with a portfolio of high-value federal and public sector partners, acting as a strategic advisor to partner CTOs, CISOs, and VP-level stakeholders;
• Facilitate joint technical strategy sessions and executive business reviews, ensuring alignment between Datadog and partner technical roadmaps at the highest organizational levels;
• Design and lead technically complex partner initiatives, including federal cloud migrations, zero-trust observability frameworks, FedRAMP-compliant deployments, and large-scale DevSecOps transformations;
• Create and deliver partner enablement programs such as workshops, certifications, and technical deep-dives that significantly enhance partner capabilities;
• Work collaboratively internally to support partner technical initiatives, including end-customer demonstrations, proofs of value, partner team enablement workshops, and providing assessment, advice, and coaching on best practices;
• Represent partners' technical concerns (use cases, feature requests, support issues, etc.) to Datadog's internal teams and personnel, assisting in resolving those concerns;
• Act as the authoritative voice for federal partner needs within Datadog's Product, Engineering, and Technical Services teams, influencing prioritization decisions that define the platform roadmap;
• Continuously curate and refine best practices for the successful adoption and utilization of the Datadog platform.
• Over 15 years of experience in a customer- or partner-facing technical role, demonstrating the ability to operate at both executive and deep technical levels simultaneously;
• Established track record of building and maintaining C-suite relationships within federal or public sector environments;
• Extensive knowledge of the federal technology landscape, including procurement cycles, compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, FISMA, IL5), and the ecosystem of FSIs, GSIs, and channel partners in the public sector;
• A self-motivated, tech-savvy professional with outstanding business acumen; capable of articulating Datadog's value from the server room to the boardroom and every level in between;
• Proficiency in English is required;
• Desired hands-on experience in five or more of the following areas:
• Observability: Datadog, Splunk, AppD, New Relic, or Dynatrace
• Public Cloud: AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, GCP
• Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
• Dev/Scripting: Python, Go, JavaScript, Ruby, Bash
• Configuration Management: Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef
• CI/CD & DevSecOps: Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions
