Solutions Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Generating sales opportunities by overseeing the pre-sales technical process and showcasing Akamai's technology to clients.

• Overseeing the technical proposal process to ensure all technical details and recommendations meet customer requirements accurately.

• Transforming customer objectives into scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures, enabling successful deployments and adherence to industry-leading best practices.

• Leading sales initiatives such as Technical Demonstrations, Customer Analysis Reports (CARs), and Proof of Concepts (POCs).

• Enhancing customer satisfaction, retention, and growth in alignment with the customer's needs and business objectives.

• Assisting customers through design and validation processes utilizing Akamai's offerings: Web Application Firewall, API security, Bot Management, and Zero Trust solutions.

• Illustrating how Akamai solutions can integrate with AI-driven workflows, automation frameworks, and contemporary DevOps toolchains.

• Providing guidance to customers on the safe and efficient implementation of AI-powered features within Akamai's platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5 years of experience along with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated knowledge of the internet, including but not limited to technologies such as DNS, HTTP(S), and APIs.

• Experience or interest in working with CDN architecture, Cybersecurity, AI, SEO, and DevOps.

• Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within account teams and cross-functionally across departments such as Sales, Services, and Product Management.
