Solutions Engineer – GIS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Become a comprehensive expert in the Pathfinder solution and its applications for customers.

• Articulate Pathfinder’s capabilities in relation to user requirements.

• Develop and conduct demonstration projects that highlight Pathfinder workflows and applications.

• Create technical documentation and contribute to sales and marketing content.

• Prepare technical offers and responses for public tenders.

• Provide technical support, including live assistance to customers.

• Manage and prioritize customer technical requests to aid in the product roadmap development.

• Design and implement customer onboarding and training sessions.

• Conduct comprehensive solution testing prior to releases and client deployments.

• Leverage AI tools to expedite demo projects, proofs-of-concept, and tender submissions.

• Utilize AI writing assistants for technical documentation and proposals.

• Employ AI-supported tools for managing and triaging incoming customer requests.

• Integrate AI-assisted testing tools into the quality assurance process for solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of hands-on experience using GIS in land, environmental, or infrastructure management.

• More than 2 years in a customer-facing position.

• Proven experience in writing technical documentation in English.

• Proficient in conversational English.

• Academic background in Geographic Information Systems, Geomatics, Geospatial Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical/scientific discipline.

• Experience in educational or technical training roles is an advantage.

• At least 2 years of experience working with international clients in an English-speaking environment is preferred.

• Proficiency in German, Spanish, or other languages is a bonus.
