Solutions Engineer – Data Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and deliver enterprise-grade data engineering solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure and the Microsoft Fabric ecosystems.

• Develop and uphold data models, as well as ETL and ELT processes.

• Work in collaboration with BI and analytics teams to prepare data for downstream reporting, analytics, and AI usage.

• Execute data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and quality control measures.

• Implement security best practices, including encryption and adherence to compliance standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated hands-on experience in delivering contemporary data engineering solutions on Microsoft Azure and/or Microsoft Fabric.

• Strong engineering background in data pipelines, Lakehouse or warehouse architectures, and relational data platforms.

• Experience in designing and managing production data platforms.

• Comprehensive understanding of data security, governance, and compliance principles.

• Experience in consulting or project-based delivery settings.

• Familiarity with modern engineering practices such as source control, CI/CD, and testing methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer Associate is required or expected within six to twelve months.

• Preferred: Microsoft Certified Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
