Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the product demonstration segment of Swiftly presentations for transit agencies, transit operators, consultancies, and prospective partners.

• Collaborate with the respective Account Executive or Account Manager to formulate and execute a tailored strategy, approach, and pitch for a specific agency, showcasing Swiftly's value and addressing potential challenges.

• Propel revenue growth by nurturing client relationships, recognizing new business opportunities, constructing compelling business cases, and offering technical expertise to facilitate the sales process. You will closely collaborate with Sales and Product teams to ensure clients receive optimal solutions to their requirements.

• Plan and conduct 2 to 3-day on-site workshops, training agency personnel and illustrating Swiftly's value for mid-sized and large agencies.

• Manage pilot programs, including time-limited free access to Swiftly for agencies, aiming to derive quantitative savings and outcomes to support a robust business case for mid-sized and large agencies.

• Rapidly grasp intricate engineering concepts and effectively convey them to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Establish and maintain productive, trust-based relationships with agency personnel and internal teams, delivering technical expertise and support throughout the sales process.

• Create new tools and processes to help demonstrate the value of Swiftly.

• Act as a technical resource and domain specialist for internal teams.

• Provide precise and relevant first-line technical responses during all stages of the sales cycle.

• Share insights and best practices with the SE team and beyond, pinpointing challenges and potential enhancements for the function.

• Represent Swiftly at conferences and events.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with or at a transit agency, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for transit.

• Familiarity with transit passenger information, planning, operations, and data standards.

• Strong analytical abilities and a passion for data.

• A strategic mindset driven by problem-solving and collaboration with transit agencies on their challenges.

• Excellent proactive communication skills, energized by daily interactions with prospective customers.

• Innovative thinking in finding new ways for prospective customers to recognize the value of Swiftly.

• Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing communications across numerous departments at several agencies simultaneously.

• A relentless, ownership-driven mentality; when issues arise, you take responsibility until they are resolved.

• Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to work independently to creatively address problems.

• Willingness to travel approximately once a month to meet agencies and participate in conferences across North America.
