Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the sales team to present Redpanda to potential clients.

• Conduct product and solution briefings, create proof-of-concepts (POC), execute live product demonstrations, and develop Redpanda integrations.

• Work in conjunction with Redpanda's product management, engineering, and support teams to address customer challenges and enhance the customer experience.

• Recognize and tackle key technical objections from customers, formulating strategies to overcome barriers to adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-8+ years of experience in leading presentations, gathering requirements, creating solution architectures, and instructing prospective users or project teams on software similar to Redpanda.

• Proficiency in developing and prototyping solutions across various programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, and JavaScript).

• A strong enthusiasm for addressing complex technical challenges with a solid grasp of modern infrastructure and streaming technologies (Kafka ecosystem preferred).

• Exceptional relationship-building skills with partners, customers, and open-source users.

• Experience in showcasing technical concepts, including effective presentation and whiteboarding skills.

• A collaborative mindset, ensuring that all teams receive customer feedback to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

• Willingness to travel to engage with customers, participate in events or conferences, or wherever necessary.

• Proficient with Linux and Kubernetes.

• Experienced with one or more of the following cloud service providers: AWS, GCP, and Azure.

🏝️ Benefits

• The U.S. base salary range for this position is $168,500 - $198,000, excluding bonus and/or commission. Our salary ranges are based on role, level, and location. As a remote-first organization, we aim to evaluate each candidate's job-related skills, location, experience, and relevant education or training to establish an individual base salary.
