Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Promote our product and mission to prospective clients.

• Share our narrative and emphasize customized features within the platform that cater to our clients' requirements.

• Develop a compelling narrative for current and potential clients by utilizing specific customer use cases, strategic market insights, and engaging product demonstrations.

• Create impactful product demonstrations and data workflows from the ground up.

• Forge strong relationships with external stakeholders, including executives, operational teams, and technical personnel.

• Tackle the unique technical challenges that customers face during the sales process.

• Partner with business development teams and customers to gather requirements and lead technical discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in enterprise software/SaaS or technical consulting.

• A technical or engineering background, ideally in computer science, data science, or other quantitative disciplines.

• Exceptional communication abilities across executive, technical, and non-technical audiences, with experience in public safety, emergency management, and/or national security settings preferred.

• Extensive experience engaging with clients in a pre-sales role, facilitating introductory conversations, technical discussions, demonstrations, scoping, pricing, and contracting negotiations.

• Experience working collaboratively in a cross-functional project environment involving product design, software engineering, customer success, sales, and marketing teams.

• A willingness to tackle new analytical and technical challenges with a customer-focused, workflow-oriented, and impact-driven mindset.

• Willingness and ability to travel 40-50% of the time.

• Location Requirement: This position is based in Canada. Candidates should be situated near a major airport or metropolitan area to facilitate frequent customer travel.
