Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Collect, assess, and document the business and technical requirements of partners across integrations, migrations, reporting, and platform configurations.

• Analyze partner technical environments and propose scalable, efficient solution strategies.

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions, discussions on solution design, proof of concepts, and implementation planning.

• Assist with API integrations, as well as the implementation of email and web services, migrations, and onboarding activities.

• Work collaboratively with Product, Engineering, Operations, Support, and Project teams to ensure alignment on scope, dependencies, timelines, and technical specifications.

• Convert partner requirements into technical tasks, project plans, and implementation documentation.

• Present technical information, conduct walkthroughs, demonstrations, and enablement sessions for partners and stakeholders.

• Offer insights on solution architecture, integrations, implementation strategies, and resolution of technical issues.

• Maintain ongoing partner relationships by addressing technical and operational challenges as needed.

• Keep up-to-date with relevant technologies, products, hosting platforms, and industry trends.

• Assist with additional tasks or projects as assigned to fulfill team and business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting, Sales Engineering, Technical Account Management, or related customer-facing technical roles.

• Solid understanding of technical solution design, integrations, implementation planning, and systems analysis.

• Background in working with APIs, web services, migrations, onboarding initiatives, or platform implementations.

• Capability to engage in technical discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, and relationship-building abilities.

• Analytical and problem-solving orientation accompanied by strong organizational skills.

• Familiarity with hosting, telecommunications, cloud services, email platforms, or web services environments is a significant advantage.

• Proficient in managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and technical priorities at the same time.

• Quick adaptability to new technologies, systems, and partner environments.

• Willingness to travel occasionally for partner discovery, implementation, or enablement activities as necessary.
