Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Technical Discovery: Collaborate with Account Executives to conduct in-depth discovery sessions, pinpointing challenges faced by prospects in procurement, accounts payable workflows, and inventory management.

• Product Demonstrations: Provide engaging, customized demonstrations of the Field Materials platform, with a focus on our AI functionalities and bi-directional ERP integrations.

• Solution Architecture: Develop and present how the modules of Field Materials (RFQ, Orders, Inventory, Invoices) align with the customer’s current workflows and the necessary configurations for these modules.

• AI Engineering: You will create prototypes of AI agents tailored to the specific needs of prospects. These agents may be utilized to extract data from documents or to automate customer workflows from start to finish.

• Integration Expert: Act as the go-to authority on our integrations with Procore, Sage 100/300/Intacct, Viewpoint Vista and Spectrum, Foundation, CMiC, and QuickBooks, assisting prospects in understanding how data synchronizes across systems.

• Security & Technical Validation: Lead technical assessments, including responding to security questionnaires and addressing concerns regarding API capabilities, data privacy, and AI accuracy.

• Feedback Loop: Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to relay field insights, ensuring our development roadmap addresses the most pressing needs within the construction sector.

• Post-Demo Support: Serve as a technical consultant during the final stages of the sales process to guarantee a seamless transition to the Customer Success team for implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Architect, or a technical implementation specialist (experience in SaaS is essential).

• Demonstrated capability to handle multiple technical evaluations concurrently in a dynamic startup setting.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Hard Science, Computer Science, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Experience with one or more construction accounting/ERP systems (such as Sage 100/300, Viewpoint Vista/Spectrum, Foundation, or Procore) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with the construction industry and standard workflows is highly beneficial (RFQs, POs, Invoices, 3-way matching).
