This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Lead the discovery and solution design process by conducting persona-focused discovery, documenting both current and target workflows, and mapping out requirements.
• Suggest appropriately scaled solution strategies, taking into account integration, data flows, approvals, and change management.
• Provide impactful demos and proof points: Create and deliver customized walkthroughs that resonate with stakeholder outcomes across finance, operations, IT, and executive audiences.
• Convert customer needs into actionable solutions: Ensure alignment with existing workflows and collaborate with internal teams for advanced technical support.
• Serve as the connection between pre-sale and post-sale activities: Assist customers from initial discovery through to implementation, guaranteeing a seamless transition from sales to onboarding and early success.
• Enable field teams: Collaborate with designated Local Market Leader teams to enhance engagement and confidence through ongoing training, support, and the sharing of best practices.
• Manage and prioritize incoming requests via Salesforce Cases.
• Keep partners updated on status, next steps, and resolution outcomes.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration: Act as the liaison between Sales and Product, translating new releases, features, and updates into clear benefits for both the field and customers.
• Measure key performance indicators: Monitor and report on vital metrics such as demo-to-close conversion rates, pipeline influence, case volume, and satisfaction scores to illustrate impact and pinpoint opportunities for enhancing field performance.
• Travel: 10–20% domestic travel required for essential customer meetings, training sessions, or field events.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a client-facing sales or consulting role within the payments industry.
• At least 1 year of experience in working with or translating business accounts payable processes into automated solutions.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent military experience.
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience in a client-facing sales or consulting role within the payments industry.
• Preferred: 3+ years of experience with various accounting and ERP systems such as Quickbooks, Sage, Netsuite, etc.
• Preferred: 2+ years of experience in Accounting or IT consulting.
