Senior Solution Architect – GridOS Transmission Management System

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of GridOS AEMS (Advanced EMS) and Wide Area Management Systems (WAMS) for prospective clients in the APAC region.

• Establish credibility with customer technologists and internal GE Vernova stakeholders as a subject matter expert.

• Conduct high-level presentations and technical demonstrations showcasing the GridOS AEMS suite.

• Convert electrical market standards and regional regulations into GE Vernova’s cohesive product offerings.

• Spearhead the creation of technical proposals, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and architectural specifications.

• Represent GE Vernova at sales forums, industry events, and conferences to enhance visibility and stimulate solution demand.

• Collaborate with global AEMS teams to standardize best practices utilizing LEAN principles.

• Specify AEMS control center configurations and design system architectures that fulfill both customer needs and GE Vernova standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience as a customer-facing technical solution architect.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Power Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering.

• Familiarity with Transmission utility operations in the NAM region and experience with SCADA operational control systems.

• Proficient in State Estimation, Optimal Power Flow (OPF), Contingency Analysis, Security Constrained Dispatch, and Transmission Grid Stability.

• Experience with highly available, self-healing systems, containerization, and microservices.

• Knowledge of DNP3, ICCP, and IEC 61850 standards, along with cybersecurity best practices for operational systems.
