This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to foster business and growth opportunities.
• Lead demand generation initiatives.
• Enhance internal technology capabilities with Portfolio Account Teams and externally with our partners.
• Analyze customer requirements and align technical solutions to fulfill those needs.
• Design network infrastructures.
• Conduct product demonstrations and Proof of Concept (PoC) labs.
• Stay informed on competitive knowledge to effectively position Cisco’s products and services.
• Monitor market transitions and industry trends to predict customer needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various business entities and teams throughout the organization.
• Over 5 years of demonstrated experience in sizing and designing Routing, Wireless, and Switching deployments both On-Prem and Cloud-Based.
• More than 5 years of developed expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, LISP), network segmentation technologies (VRF, MPLS, ZeroTrust, SDA, 802.1x, Adaptive Policy), and network management.
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
• Knowledge of competitive networking products such as HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Arista, and Fortinet.
• Experience in pre-sales roles.
• Typically requires a BS/BA (preferably in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science) or equivalent.
• Strong critical thinking skills to address customer concerns and support their business growth.
• A customer-centric mindset.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Cisco and non-Cisco certifications are a plus (CCIE, CCDE, CCNP, DevNet, AWS, Google, Terraform).
• Knowledge of API and programmability is advantageous.
