This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +1 more state.
• Oversee the technical engagement for designated Missile Defense Agency accounts
• Ensure that Cisco solutions yield quantifiable operational and mission results
• Create secure and robust architectures encompassing networking, security, and Zero Trust
• Comply with stringent DoD standards and FedRAMP guidelines
• Collaborate with the account team to develop long-term strategies and expedite technology adoption within the MDA landscape
• Work with major system integrators to construct integrated solutions that facilitate large-scale mission transformation
• Present technical demonstrations and presentations that highlight Cisco’s offerings and achieve technical victories
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of experience in customer-focused IT, delivery, or pre-sales roles within the Defense sector
• Current CCNP Enterprise (ENCOR) certification or the ability to obtain it within 12 months
• Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance preferred
• Experience in configuring architectures within FedRAMP or IL5 boundaries and meeting ATO compliance requirements preferred
• Proven history of leading technical engagements from inception to completion preferred
• In-depth knowledge of IT trends pertinent to the Department of Defense, including observability and cloud infrastructure preferred
• Strong business writing and presentation abilities with a composed demeanor in high-pressure customer situations preferred
• Active Secret security clearance, or a former Secret clearance requiring a comprehensive security background, preferred
• Must live in or be open to relocating to either Birmingham, AL or Colorado
