This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Collaborate with account executives throughout the sales cycle to comprehend customer needs and develop customized IAM and IGA solutions that meet security, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Lead and conduct impactful product demonstrations that highlight essential IAM/IGA functionalities, including access governance, provisioning, lifecycle management, and policy enforcement.
• Create and configure personalized demo environments and proof-of-concept (POC) implementations, encompassing data modeling, setup, and integration with client systems.
• Interact with technical stakeholders (such as security teams, identity architects, IT operations, and developers) to conduct technical discovery, gather requirements, and validate solutions.
• Design and articulate solutions using contemporary identity standards and protocols like SCIM and SAML, along with REST-based API integrations with directories, HRIS, and SaaS applications.
• Develop technical documentation, solution diagrams, and implementation guides that effectively communicate recommended architectures and integration patterns.
• Work in close collaboration with Product Management and Engineering to convey customer insights, influence product roadmap priorities, and stay ahead of emerging IAM and IGA use cases.
• Assist in RFP/RFI submissions and security questionnaires by providing precise, detailed technical content related to IAM/IGA capabilities and integrations.
• Conduct presentations and technical workshops—both virtually and in person—for prospects, customers, and partners, adjusting the depth of content for executive, business, and technical audiences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Success and Professional Services to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to implementation, aligning expectations and solution design.
• Continuously enhance and refine demo scripts, environments, and technical sales materials to boost effectiveness and consistency across the Solutions Engineering team.
• Maintain a high level of self-discipline and ownership over your territory, managing multiple opportunities, POCs, and stakeholder demands simultaneously.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in IAM, IGA, and security to serve as a trusted advisor for customers and internal teams.
• Foster a collaborative, supportive team culture by sharing knowledge, mentoring colleagues, and participating in internal training sessions.
• Residing on the East Coast of the United States, with the capability to work efficiently with customers and internal teams across various US time zones.
• Demonstrated experience (typically 3+ years) in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Pre-Sales, or comparable technical customer-facing role supporting enterprise solutions.
• Practical experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platforms, including the setup and deployment of standard use cases.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary identity standards and protocols such as SAML and SCIM, with the ability to design and explain comprehensive authentication, authorization, and provisioning flows.
• Experience in building, testing, and troubleshooting RESTful API integrations between identity platforms and external applications, directories, or HR systems.
• Proven capability to create and deliver engaging technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept environments tailored to customer specifications.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to engage executives, business stakeholders, and technical audiences effectively.
• Strong organizational abilities, including the capacity to manage multiple concurrent opportunities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.
• Self-driven and proactive, with a history of taking initiative, independently solving problems, and advancing opportunities.
• A collaborative team player who excels in cross-functional settings and positively contributes to team culture and shared objectives.
• Comfortable utilizing common tools in a pre-sales environment (e.g., diagramming tools, CRM systems, collaboration platforms) and documenting technical solutions clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in IAM/IGA and technical sales.
