This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
β’ Gather and analyze market trends alongside customer feedback, use cases, and feature requests to guide global product roadmap priorities.
β’ Serve as the subject matter expert for designated technology features and capabilities.
β’ Assist in the creation and dissemination of technical content throughout the Americas.
β’ Evaluate portfolio sales performance, feature launches, and market trends to shape regional strategies.
β’ Maintain an understanding of the competitive landscape regarding assigned technologies.
β’ Aid pre-sales and professional services efforts, including fieldwork and site visits.
β’ Support pilot programs and proof of concept implementations when applicable.
β’ Represent Axis at internal and external speaking engagements when suitable.
β’ Collaborate closely with product marketing and Academy to enhance messaging regarding technologies for the local market.
β’ Act as a technical liaison for Area Technical teams, facilitating technical knowledge transfer and supporting large or complex pre-sales initiatives.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in the physical security sector.
β’ Strong technical expertise in IP networking, video transport, and surveillance systems.
β’ Familiarity with computer networking infrastructure technologies.
β’ Knowledge of video transport streaming protocols and compression technologies.
β’ Proficient in IP Networking, including LAN and WAN hardware (routers, firewalls, etc.) configuration, low-level protocol understanding (RTP, TCP/IP, UDP), as well as experience with IGMP and multicasting.
β’ A B.S. degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
