Solutions Engineer – Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Sales team during the discovery phase to offer technical expertise and ensure alignment of our products with the needs of prospective clients.

• Develop and present customized integration solutions based on specific merchant requirements, serving as the subject matter expert on PayTrace's offerings.

• Consult with Merchants and Partners to enhance their current payment workflows, pinpointing opportunities for improved efficiency and security.

• Serve as a crucial liaison to the Product department, conveying market gaps and advocating for feature enhancements informed by real-world feedback.

• Collaborate closely with our Developer Support team during the post-sales transition to guarantee successful and sustainable integrations.

• Create and uphold high-quality technical documentation that encompasses processes, procedures, and specific integration guides.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a Payment environment (Gateway, Processor, or Merchant Services).

• At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in a technical or support-related position.

• Capability to translate complex technical ideas into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong ability to identify friction points within a workflow and a genuine passion for resolving complex problems in real-time.

• Hands-on experience with APIs, particularly JSON.

• Familiarity with developer tools such as Postman for testing and demonstrating functionality is highly preferred.

• A comprehensive understanding of the payment ecosystem, including Gateways, Processors, and Merchant Services.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% for partner visits or industry events.

• Must possess high-speed internet and a reliable environment for joining video meetings without latency issues.
