This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.
• Create innovative techniques, solutions, and methodologies for the integration of core business processes within customer operations.
• Collaborate with domain experts, scientists, data scientists, and technical engineers to devise AI solutions that align with organizational goals.
• Partner with clients to establish objectives for data curation, algorithms, and outcomes; set up training pipelines, conduct large-scale customer experiments, and assess models for production deployment.
• Consult with research scientists to explore the potential of new theoretical ideas and the practical application of theories, driving a computational engineering solution pipeline.
• Lead the technical sales process from initial meetings and discovery through to post-sales success, including upselling and subscription renewals.
• Craft comprehensive solutions tailored to customer needs utilizing Cloudera technologies—specifically Cloudera AI, AI Inference, AI Studios, and AI Workbench—based on reference architectures and established patterns.
• Present Cloudera’s product roadmap and vision to C-level executives (CIO, CTO, CDO), showcasing how AI Agents and Cloud Bursting expedite enterprise AI adoption.
• Develop and deliver engaging technical presentations and demonstrations that encourage customers to endorse Cloudera.
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to represent customer needs, converting field feedback into actionable roadmap items.
• Engage in external publicity and advocacy, including speaking at conferences, writing blogs, and leading webinars to promote the narrative surrounding trusted Enterprise AI.
• At least 8 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in a pre-sales or solutions engineering capacity.
• Extensive experience in Data Engineering, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
• Proficient with one or more major cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and knowledgeable about hybrid deployment considerations (public vs. private cloud).
• Recognize that a Data Lake encompasses more than mere storage; well-versed in the challenges of Operations, Security, and Data Governance necessary to ensure AI safety for enterprises.
• Familiarity with Big Data, Data Warehousing (e.g., Iceberg), or Relational Databases, along with experience in Unix/Linux environments.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of whiteboarding complex architectures and effectively gathering business requirements.
• A strong willingness to learn, an inquisitive nature to discover new applications for Cloudera technology, and a commitment to ensuring customer success.
