Solutions Consultant – MRO Industrial Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Increasing POS reporting within the designated territory by establishing relationships with key end users, distributors, and manufacturing partners.

• Utilizing consultative selling techniques, data-driven decision-making, and market insights to identify opportunities.

• Providing product education and positioning LineDrive as a reliable solutions provider.

• Balancing strategic planning with hands-on sales execution to meet and surpass regional objectives.

• Developing and sustaining partnerships among manufacturers, distributors, and end users to achieve both regional and national growth goals.

• Promoting revenue growth through opportunity creation, pipeline management, and implementation of LineDrive’s strategic selling principles.

• Evaluating territory coverage from prior quarters to guide future planning and time management.

• Improving sales effectiveness through training, planning, and efficient administrative oversight.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3 – 5 years of experience in outside sales is mandatory.

• A background in MRO industrial supply is essential.

• Comprehensive knowledge of industrial distribution channels and the dynamics between manufacturers and distributors.

• Previous experience in industrial distribution (e.g., Grainger, Fastenal, or MSC Industrial) is highly desirable.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, CRM tools (Salesforce preferred), and experience with analytics platforms such as Power BI.

• Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities across all levels of an organization.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, showing a genuine eagerness to drive business and operate with urgency.

• Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with confidence in leading group training sessions.

• Effective consultative selling skills, with the ability to align solutions with customer needs.

• Competence in interpreting data to guide strategic planning and prioritize opportunities.

• Highly organized, able to manage an individual book of business based on LineDrive guidelines, and self-motivated with effective time and territory management skills.

• Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining focus on long-term goals.

• Collaborative approach, working cross-functionally with Inside Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturer teams.
