This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver software and product architecture for the Unified Claims Acceleration Platform (UCAP).

• Establish milestone delivery and success metrics while supervising technical implementation.

• Offer business and technical architectural direction to development teams.

• Determine solutions based on business and technical criteria within an AWS cloud environment.

• Lead a multidisciplinary IT team to ensure the effective delivery of system solutions.

• Gather customer requirements, analyze alternatives, and recommend software, platform, and network configurations.

• Create, enhance, and sustain service designs utilizing process frameworks and methodologies.

• Prepare and present technical presentations, briefings, and reports to government stakeholders.

• Assist with change management and enhance program processes.

• Drive solution development for SSA and broader federal health growth opportunities.

• Perform solution scans, design, and cost estimation.

• Develop proposal content, engage in color reviews, and create bills of materials.

• Formulate staffing plans, bases of estimate, and lifecycle cost estimates.

• Coordinate technical subject-matter-expert support to address technical challenges.

• Provide technical thought leadership to promote retention and growth of work.

• Serve as a technical liaison between customer technical contacts and GDIT staff.

• Facilitate IT strategic planning to align capture, program execution, emerging technology, and growth pipelines.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is required.

• Over 15 years of experience in software development, design, and product management.

• More than 7 years of direct experience in designing and implementing AWS cloud-based managed service solutions.

• At least 5 years of experience creating solutions for federal government proposals.

• Experience in solution architecture across various technical disciplines.

• Capability to lead projects and proposals while providing technical oversight.

• Strong understanding of government procurement and proposal processes.

• In-depth knowledge of commercial products and solutions, particularly COTS software application products.

• Experience in developing lifecycle cost estimates for technical solutions.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.

• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a cross-functional team.

• Maintain technical expertise with current technologies, trends, standards, and products.

• Customer service-oriented mindset.

• Must be eligible to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully complete a government background screening process, including detailed forms and fingerprinting.

• Public Trust/Other Required: MBI (T2).

• U.S. citizenship is not mandatory.

• Preferred: experience with Agile and Lean methodologies, iBPM/CRM, ITSM automation, big data, data warehousing, data lakes, machine learning, AI, cloud migration, and cyber defense.

• Preferred: previous experience with SSA, the Department of Veterans Affairs, or federal health agencies.

• Preferred: certifications such as AWS AI Practitioner, Machine Learning Engineer Associate, Generative AI Developer Professional, or Machine Learning Specialty.

• Preferred: experience in writing business cases and white papers, as well as presenting them.

• Preferred: experience in government contracting and B2G sales.
