Solutions Architect – ServiceNow Financial Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the architecture and design of financial management solutions built on ServiceNow, encompassing budgeting, cost modeling, and billing.

• Convert business and financial management requirements into scalable technical solution designs.

• Establish system architecture, covering data models, workflows, integrations, and reporting frameworks.

• Implement ServiceNow platform best practices to leverage out-of-the-box functionalities while minimizing excessive customization.

• Offer architectural guidance to development teams throughout the implementation process.

• Evaluate solution builds to ensure adherence to delivery standards and client specifications.

• Work collaboratively with product and engineering teams on product enhancements.

• Provide advice to customers regarding IT Financial Management, budgeting processes, and strategies for cost allocation.

• Facilitate discovery sessions, solution design workshops, and requirements-gathering activities.

• Present technical solution designs and architectural recommendations to both technical and executive stakeholders.

• Direct technical execution alongside Implementation Managers and Delivery Developers.

• Engage in architecture planning, solution scoping, and the creation of implementation roadmaps.

• Address technical challenges and uphold architectural alignment.

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and reporting frameworks.

• Assist and guide User Acceptance Testing by formulating testing strategies and validating functionalities.

• Create and deliver training sessions for administrators, financial users, and operational teams.

• Lead platform walkthroughs, product demonstrations, and sessions aimed at customer enablement.

• Provide post-implementation support to ensure adoption and the long-term success of the solution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.

• Over 5 years of experience in implementing enterprise software solutions.

• More than 5 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.

• Experience in designing solutions related to financial management, budgeting, cost allocation, billing, or cost modeling.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Capability to translate intricate technical concepts into understandable, actionable terms for enterprise stakeholders.

• Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture and application design.

• Experience in designing data models and financial structures for budgeting, cost allocation, and billing.

• Ability to convert complex business and financial requirements into technical designs.

• Exceptional workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement abilities.

• Strong presentation skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• Proven experience leading UAT processes and conducting customer training sessions.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.

• Skill in prioritizing tasks in fast-paced delivery environments.
