This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in shaping and executing the vision for the Health Data Platform within Smile Digital Health’s product offerings.
• Facilitate understanding of Smile’s solutions among clients and potential customers through exploratory discussions, presentations, demonstrations, architectural diagrams/documentation, and requirements gathering.
• Aid in the preparation of responses to RFPs, RFIs, and other similar solicitation documents.
• Detail the transition and integration of customers’ existing systems and data into the Smile platform.
• Build and nurture relationships with strategic clients while aligning their roadmaps with Smile’s product strategy.
• Guide customers through the purchasing process by identifying their needs and challenges, and offering appropriate solutions.
• Provide support for scoping and sandbox environments.
• Generate high-level IT architecture specifications and design documents.
• Diagnose and resolve design-related issues.
• Compile solution details and justifications for approval by the Architecture Review Board.
• Identify current challenges and propose solutions while anticipating future obstacles.
• Assist in data design and migration to the Smile platform.
• Prepare and present technical information alongside ongoing technical consultations.
• Engage in product demonstrations and proofs of concept.
• Develop account management strategies in collaboration with the Sales team.
• Serve as a technical liaison among customers, service engineering, product, and support teams.
• Stay informed about Smile products, HL7 FHIR, market trends, customer environments, and the competitive landscape.
• Work collaboratively across functions to enhance product, sales, and marketing from a technical viewpoint.
• 5-10+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, and/or customer consulting, with contributions to system design or architecture.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare technology across various facets of the industry is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in HL7 FHIR and legacy healthcare integration standards and practices is essential.
• Significant hands-on experience in implementation and customer consulting.
• Experience in building complex technology-based systems successfully delivered to customers at scale.
• Capability to manage a project from the requirements scoping phase through to implementation launch.
• Exceptional communication skills for articulating complex technical software product features, designs, strategies, and proposed solutions.
• Ability to present and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels, including C-level/Executive level.
• Experience in leading or contributing at a senior level to the development of strategic RFP responses.
• Familiarity with professional software development practices throughout the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Experience mentoring new hires and colleagues to enhance their skills.
