Solutions Architect – Retail, Travel & Hospitality

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• You will serve as the primary technical representative for Databricks while collaborating with up to 9 clients.

• You will guide your clients through a transformational process, assisting them in evaluating and integrating Databricks into their strategic plans.

• You will execute the technical strategy within the account, ensuring a thorough understanding of the overarching strategy.

• Foster a network of technical champions within the account.

• Align technical strategies with Databricks solutions.

• You will offer structured mentorship to other team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with very large accounts (>$1m ARR), particularly in the Retail and CPG sectors.

• At least 3 years of experience in a pre-sales role or in supporting sales activities.

• Technical expertise in big data, data science, and cloud technologies.

• Proven ability in data-driven business transformation and facilitating change using data.

• Over 3 years of design and implementation experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, MPP, OLTP, OLAP, or full lifecycle data science solutions.

• Ability to maintain and enhance production data systems to meet complex customer requirements.

• Experience with production programming in Python, R, Scala, or Java.

• Preferred: Databricks Certification.
