Solutions Architect – Pre-Sales

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable advisor for enterprise clients, assisting in the definition of data, analytics, cloud, and AI strategies that align with their business goals.

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and solution design discussions with client stakeholders, from engineering teams to executive leadership.

• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance data and AI solutions utilizing Snowflake, cloud platforms, and contemporary data technologies.

• Collaborate closely with sales teams to enhance business development efforts, including client presentations, solution proposals, technical demonstrations, RFP responses, and proof-of-concept projects.

• Work alongside BlueCloud's advisory, sales, and delivery teams to ensure that solution designs are practical, scalable, and aligned with customer needs.

• Create enterprise data architectures that encompass data warehouses, data lakes, data pipelines, governance frameworks, and AI/ML environments.

• Assist clients in assessing and adopting Snowflake capabilities, such as Cortex, AI applications, data sharing, governance, and advanced analytics solutions.

• Lead cloud modernization and migration projects across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

• Develop reusable reference architectures, accelerators, best practices, and solution playbooks to enhance delivery consistency and speed.

• Ensure architectural oversight throughout project delivery, making certain that solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and compliance standards.

• Mentor engineers, consultants, and junior architects while fostering architectural excellence and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.

• Keep abreast of emerging trends in AI, data platforms, cloud technologies, and industry-specific innovations, providing fresh ideas and insights to customers and internal teams.

• Represent BlueCloud at customer events, partner meetings, industry conferences, and thought leadership initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in alliances, partnerships, channel management, business development, or strategic sales roles within cloud, data, analytics, or technology services sectors.

• More than 10 years of experience in solution architecture, data architecture, data engineering, cloud consulting, or related technical leadership positions.

• Extensive expertise in designing and implementing enterprise data solutions, ideally within the Snowflake ecosystem.

• Solid understanding of modern data architectures, including data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration, governance, and analytics platforms.

• Experience in architecting solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, generative AI, and modern data-driven application architectures.

• Practical experience with technologies such as Snowflake, SQL, Python, dbt, Spark, cloud-native data services, and associated tools.

• Proven success in customer-facing consulting or pre-sales roles, including solution scoping, executive presentations, and technical proposal development.

• Capability to convey complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging executives and senior technical leaders.

• Knowledge of data governance, security, privacy, compliance, and best practices in enterprise architecture.

• A consultative approach with strong problem-solving skills and a genuine passion for helping customers achieve measurable business outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degrees and relevant cloud or Snowflake certifications are advantageous.

• Willingness to travel up to 30-40% for customer meetings, workshops, conferences, and industry events.
