This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +7 more states.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across different departments to comprehend their needs and challenges from a strategic perspective.
• Complex Requirements Analysis: Evaluate intricate business requirements and convert them into innovative, future-oriented technical solutions.
• Concept Generation: Create and advocate for new concepts, principles, and methodologies within the field of solution architecture.
• Solution Design and Architecture: Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions, taking into account emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Technology Integration: Choose and incorporate cutting-edge technologies (hardware, software, cloud) to develop robust and efficient solutions.
• Technical Documentation: Produce and sustain comprehensive technical documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain solution effectiveness.
• Presentation Leadership: Lead presentations and discussions, effectively advocating for your proposed solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Implementation Collaboration: Work alongside development teams to guarantee the smooth implementation of your designed solutions.
• Optimization Identification: Discover opportunities for optimization within current systems and propose innovative solutions to enhance overall efficiency.
• Emerging Technologies Monitoring: Remain at the leading edge of emerging technologies, actively assessing and integrating them into your solution strategy.
• Mentorship and Knowledge Sharing: Guide junior Solution Architects and share your expertise by participating in internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
• At least 7 years of experience in solution architecture or a related technical role (e.g., software development, DevOps, systems engineering)
• 3-5 years of experience in solution design and implementation, with specialization in a particular domain (e.g., cloud computing, security)
• Demonstrated success in leading and executing complex technical projects
• Mastery of a wide array of technical skills relevant to the role, including cloud computing, enterprise architecture, and IT security
• Strong ability to create innovative solutions and develop new methodologies within the solution architecture domain
• Excellent communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between technical and non-technical audiences
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and consideration of long-term implications
• Certification in solution architecture (e.g., AWS/Azure Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect)
• Experience with enterprise integration patterns and best practices
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation of architectural designs and solutions
• Experience with automation and orchestration tools
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)
• Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to influence and guide technical teams
• Ability to keep up with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Experience in managing stakeholder expectations and delivering high-quality solutions within time and budget constraints.
