Solutions Architect, ICM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete delivery process for intricate, enterprise-level implementations from initial discovery to final launch.

• Design scalable, high-performance compensation models that ensure robust data integrity and long-term sustainability.

• Convert complex plan designs into organized, repeatable system configurations and frameworks.

• Serve as the senior technical escalation contact for both internal teams and external partners.

• Identify issues, drive root-cause analysis, and enhance reusable modeling frameworks.

• Contribute to the development of templates, quality assurance checklists, and best practices for modeling.

• Act as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) in collaboration with Finance, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, and cross-functional customer teams.

• Assist customers in navigating trade-offs, edge cases, and best practices for compensation architecture.

• Simplify complex technical subjects for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to identify patterns, influence roadmap priorities, and address platform deficiencies.

• Work together with Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams to ensure seamless transitions and consistent customer results.

• Develop modeling frameworks, reusable components, and implementation standards across Professional Services.

• Provide informal mentorship and guidance to consultants.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of overall work experience, including at least 4 years of experience in designing and modeling complex incentive compensation plans using an ICM/SPM platform.

• Proficiency in Excel modeling for large and complex datasets.

• In-depth understanding of data structures, calculations, and model integrity.

• Demonstrated experience in leading SaaS implementations within Professional Services, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting.

• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder environments and advising customers on technical and business trade-offs.

• Comprehensive knowledge of implementation best practices, solution architecture, and the entire project lifecycle.

• Analytical, detail-oriented, inquisitive, and customer-centric.

• Ability to excel in fast-paced, ambiguous settings while maintaining discipline in meeting deadlines.

• Willingness to embrace AI-driven tools and automation.

• Preferred: Experience with CaptivateIQ or other ICM/SPM platforms such as SAP Commissions, Xactly Incent, Varicent, or Anaplan.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Salesforce, NetSuite, or Zuora.

• Preferred: Exposure to SQL or Python.

• Preferred: Background in financial operations, FP&A, accounting, system implementation, solutions architecture/engineering, or technology consulting.
