This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assess requirements and recommend as well as implement model-based solutions that fulfill customer expectations while reducing cost and scheduling risks.
• Conduct requirements analysis.
• Create solution architectures across operational, logical, and functional abstraction layers.
• Execute verification processes with traceability linked to requirements.
• Develop model-based solution architectures for swift capability development and demonstration.
• Convey digital engineering concepts, such as requirements traceability, model execution, simulation-based design performance, and digital threading.
• Identify risks and communicate cost and schedule implications on performance.
• Collaborate with digital engineers and client representatives to devise suitable solutions.
• Promote best-practice excellence in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) across GDIT.
• Employ MBSE techniques and tools tailored to mission requirements.
• Present information to customers, partners, and senior personnel.
• Contribute to mission-critical initiatives and business growth at GDIT.
• Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science with over 10 years of relevant experience required.
• Advanced degrees may substitute for part of the required experience: Master's degree with 8+ years or Ph.D. with 6+ years.
• Over 10 years of related experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of SysML modeling experience using Dassault Cameo.
• At least 2 years of Java programming experience to control Cameo via its OpenAPI.
• 2+ years of Java programming with Apache TinkerPop Gremlin API.
• Proven experience with software development programs utilizing Agile methodology.
• Practical knowledge of cloud computing, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.
• Demonstrated integration of architecture, design, and implementation skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Capability to brief customers, partners, and senior personnel.
• Eligibility to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
